This is my first clutch purse, i had no money to buy a new one for my Work Christmas Doo, but alot of scrap material, so this is what i came up with, its made from black velvet with a shimmery purple ribbon on the flap and a blue sparkly butterfly broach in the middle, the linen inside is gold.

A Tudor Christmas.

YAAAYY!!! Its that time of year again!!! HOORAH!!! I love being skint, ........on a lighter note though, I made a Christmas dress to celebrate this "I need some bloody money!" season..............
So the majority of this dress was made from already used material. She's going to sit by my TV all christmas and watch Repeats of 'The Grinch' with me. :)

Lady in a silk dress.

This dress was made by combining some pattern pieces from other dresses with the original tudor pattern. I also altered the the original tudor skirt so it does not have the split down the middle.
I found this material when i went on a spontaneous material shopping spree and found loads of shimmering colour changing fabrics. This dress has now become one of my favourites.

My very own GEORGIAN CORSET!!!!

Yaaayyy!!! Finally, ever sinse i was little i always wanted to try on one of these corsets, i just love the shape, and look at my BOOBS, it felt great wearing one, even if it was constricting abit.
Anyways, i found a pattern for one of these corsets, didnt take up much fabric and interfacing like most clothes but...it took 12 METRES OF BONING!!

After i finished it i tried it on and continued to do the housework in it, it was awesome!! my boyfriend ryan appreciated it alot too ;D

More!

Another tudor dress, made from the original pattern, this one had alot more extensive beading in it, so it gave it that elizabethan look to it.

Regency Doll!

A new Period doll, this pattern was also taken from a original period pattern but was scaled down to a 1/6 of the size, this pattern was really easy to make.
Although the pattern for the hat had to be made from scratch.....but you learn something new everyday, and i really enjoyed playing with the ribbons...............i sound like a school report XD

Newbie!!!!

This is a new dress from the same pattern, although the design, colours, and materials have changed, also i had to make some alterations to the skirt as last time it came up short.
This one was entirely sewn on the sewing machine, the lines are alot tighter and neater and alot stronger than the last one, as the last one was completely hand stitched.

She doesnt have a name yet, although she seems to have this gothic villain tudor queen thing going on........also looking to sell this one too.

Anne Boleyn!!

The title says it all, a 1/6 scale figure inspired by Anne Boleyn, the dress was hand sewn and was very very fiddly, but im quite proud of the finished product. As this is my first one, i cant wait to see what the next one turns out like.

I first got hold of a life size pattern, then measured the pieces to which i then scaled down to a 6th of the size. I drew out the 6th scale pieces then applied them to my fabric like you would a normal pattern, then it all went from there. I mostly enjoyed doing all the detailed bits like the beading....Enjoy!!!
